(24th) among Southeast European

The Travel and Tourism
Competitiveness Index (TTCI), the
first ever, has provided
assessments in accordance with 13
categories, which include
political conditions, legal
regulations, security, health care
and hygiene, traffic and touristic
infrastructure, IT and
telecommunications development,
human resources, price
competitiveness, natural and
cultural resources.
- The index is not a ‘beauty
contest’, or a statement about the
attractiveness of a country. On
the contrary, the index measures
the factors that make it
attractive to develop the travel
and tourism industry of individual
countries, said Jennifer Blanke,
Senior Economist of the World
Economic Forum. |
